Cellulite is a condition that usually starts to appear after puberty not just in women, but also in men. Up to this date, what exactly causes celluite is still not really fully understood. However, just like the therapeutic methods, these are not proven ways yet to really stop cellulite as of the moment.

With the advancement of our technology, scientists have already designed some surgical and non surgical procedures that will help you get rid of cellulite. Below are several options for cellulite removal available nowadays.

  • Liposuction  - This surgery to remove cellulite will directly remove the fatty tissues from the cellulite affected area of your body.
  • Mesotherapy - This procedures uses a small injection of natural substance that is designed to break down the cellulite.
  • Triactive laser dermology - A laser treatment that helps in improving the appearance of cellulite.
  • Subcision -  A process used to treat deep rolling scars left behind by skin diseases. Aside from treating cellulite, it's also used in acne scars removal.
  • Endermologie - Although this a non-surgical process, it can help in breaking down cellulite and fat.

Surgery however doesn't always guarantee a total removal of cellulite. It is also the most expensive treatment available for cellulite removal. Surgical cellulite removal methods may also have some negative side effects to the individuals who had undergone the operation. The most common complaints from patients are bruising and swelling. These are most likely the reasons why most women consider cellulite surgery only as a last resort.  

A lot of women prefer to do some exercises that are designed to eliminate cellulite when trying to get rid of the problem. Aside from it's cheaper and and a lot more safe, there's a lot of health benefits that you can get from exercise, the best part is it helps you burn unwanted fats in other parts of your body.
