I agree, most people think they can get contacts without a prescription and which in fact they can but they don't realize the dangers.

This is a great post because so many people think that just because they don't need vision correction, they don't need a prescription to wear color contacts. Even if you are wearing lenses for cosmetic purposes, in the US you need a doctor's prescription to order color contacts. It's the law! Merchants have to verify your Rx before selling you the contacts. Yes, it can be a hassle, but remember, color contacts are still medical devices and your eyesight is precious!
