It is a medical condition that is characterized by abnormally increased perspiration. It causes perspiration far greater than your body's physiological needs.   • Food Reactions - There are some foods that can cause your body to sweat more than the usual tendencies. Primary suspects are spicy foods. You may want to cut down on your spicy food consumption to check if it will lessen your armpit sweating.
  • Genes - Most scientists believe that heredity is one factor that causes excessive sweating. If there's anyone in your family that suffer from Hyperhidosis then you're most likely to aquire it.
  • Obesity - If you're fat, the tendency is you have more unwanted minerals stored in your body which makes the sweat glands to work harder to release all those minerals. This causes excessive perspiration.

How to stop sweating underarms

The herbs that other people use to treat excessive sweating are Tea Tree Oil, Burdock, Sage, Astragalus and Belladona. Others prefer Antiperspirants that are available over the counter and ready for consumption. There are also what's called as the "prescription-strength antiperspirants" which is recommended by doctors when the antiperspirants that you can buy over the counter doesn't not make any improvements in your condition. Botox are also used in helping stop excessive underarm sweating, but just like PSA's, you'll need to get a prescription from a doctor. The last resort in treating hyperhidrosis is a Surgery called Endoscopic Thoracic Sympathectomy.

the comment about "spicy" foods is dead on.. they cause me to sweat badly.. i've eliminated all spicy foods in exchange for herbs and cut out sodium completely..i have a similar hub.. great work.. keep it up.. good karma to you for sharing and helping others !
